I have suggested to my group of photography that for the month, we make some photos of fruits.
A very easy goal if you are not committed to try something different which I tried or at least trying to. Inspired by photos I have seen somewhere by Julieanne Kost, I have been shooting fruits whenever I can
Here are: orange, melon, kiwi, strawberry
So far the result is this. More to come, for sure. I need just more two fruits perhaps one, to start paying around.

Home made bread. One essay for a start.
    To be improved.

No chemicals ! Wheat and rye.

I should have made others shots since the beginning...

No, not yet. It was and still is, a bit too thick, hard to cut and without holes.
A better version will come to light soon.

At one time, Antonio, I used to make my own bread with one of those bread making machines. It took a lot of experimenting to get good results from the recipes. Eventually I realised the 'improvement chemicals' in the bread and yeast were causing the dough to over rise and then collapse into what was little more than a thick biscuit.

After I managed to source some additive free ingredients I was getting acceptable results.

But now, I have given up on eating bread. And only limited amounts of potatoes (boiled not roast or chips).

    May 18 - May 24

The end of the week, Saturday the 23.ed
During the week I have been quiet and reading a book by Gabriel García Márquez. A delight !

But today I made some shots of a work in progress going on in an old apartment some 125 years old. The 24 is rather tight but for the time being... next time I will go with the 7-14 MFT which will give me more amplitude of field.

That will make an interesting record of the area before it all gets updated with new materials.

    June 1 - June 7

    As usual very few shots...
But this week I had a specific work to do: to photograph fruits for the montly photography group I conduct.
During all the time I was lazy but I had to do something, to be an example !

And that is what I did today. Some peaches and here I go. Later, some work in LR to finish the job and here I am. Two rather poor proposals... being the second one shot with the fruit on plexiglas.

Thank you Nandakumar for your comment.
Photos to me are never straight out of camera as I always have some work on them.
These days I try to experiment with different light efects, layers, masks and so on.
    More to come !

    Nice old tools there, Antonio.

One thing puzzles me though. In the centre of the image between the dies and wire stripping pliers is a stainless steel clip. Those clips are used in the fishing industry to attach hooks to a rope main line. I have used almost identical clips when I was fishing for my living; so there must be a few still somewhere inside my workshop shed.

Hi António - I enjoy both of these images. Well done and too they remind me of my Dad's collection. He even fished and would probably have had a bass lure or some such hanging on his board!
I agree, it is very seldom that I would use a photo SOOC. I'd rather give it a touch up in a post processing application just because I think I can improve my image. <grin>
Your photo work is interesting! Thank you for sharing!

This warehouse is used by a small company which maintains old leasure wood ships for leisure. They were previously used some 50 years ago, for the transportation of salt.
The simple photo below was taken in a walk on the harbour that very same day.
