The shapes, the bright and shadow areas, the tracery of the sheets and the sky as background makes this an interesting shot !
    Cheers !

Week 29:-Pacific Crest Trail--We needed to escape the city so went hiking out of Stampede Pass. Nearly 9 miles of wildflowers and fresh air. 5 other people total. Just a record shot but a good memory!

Week 32:--Three Blue Columns--Fiinally braved downtown briefly to get my hair cut--usually get it cut every 6-8 weeks and it had been nearly 6 months. Had not seen these before. My cell phone photo was quite flat so this became a challenge in PP.

week 33: Bamboo Through My Window---our house is quite close to the western neighbors--probably 6 feet. So when the current owners moved in and planted bamboo it was a nice change in our view. It is all the more welcome now that we are home so much!

agree--too close--but that is what was allowed when the houses were built in the early 1900's

Week 34: Displaced Mountain Goat--While descending from the summit of Mt Margaret, a small peak in the Washington Cascades, we found this wonderful friend bedding down on our trail. His collar suggests he is one of the goats translocated from the Olympic Mountains to the Cascades. We had to displace him as well as there was not room on the ridge for us to find an alternate route down. Mountain goats are one of my favorite animals so this was a special treat for me.

It is arranging it's bed in the dust of the trail. The translocated goats are usually not too wary of people--which can be a problem because they are quite powerful animals and some people have been gored or killed by them when the goats have felt threatened. Not an animal to mess with. When we used to go on week long backpacks and penetrate further into the mountains, I would often collect their shed fur and spin it into yarn. Now that we are on the elder side of life we don't get that far into the Cascades so I rarely see them. This was such a treat! But we had to throw rocks near it to get it to move so we could move on down the trail.
