I find the picture a little too dark, though that may have been the photographers intention.

I love the way some of the splashes of light fall on the figures - I originally thought the surface they are standing on was slatted too, but I guess the effect must be due to the light that is passing though something slatted. Splendid effect.

The high contrast lends tension and mystery. Works well for me.

Really like the aspect that prolonged viewing reveals ever more subtle detail and depth.
