    Imp

Still poring over the film archives in what little spare time I have. Found quite a few medium-format shots, including this 1989 one of our granddaughter. Pentax 645 and Kodak Ektachrome 100 Professional. It was preserved in Kindermann anti-Newton glass slide mount. I had it professionally scanned as I have only a 35mm scan
ner. I liked it exactly as it came back as a tiff. My contribution was to crop it. Her impish personality seems to come through here.

wonderful!Beautiful smile and lovely little lady.

I love film. I actually have a Nikon F4 and am using Kodak Ektar 100 with it (may change the film, will see).

Peter, I’ll have to ask, but I expect it got worn out either by her or the many dogs our family had...
Sharon, I also still like film and still have some good equipment, including a Canon EOS3, but the Pentax and three prime lenses were traded off in my mad dash into the digital age.

I'll bet she doesn't look like that any more.

I have been looking at getting back into film (primarily for B&W), but my (and others) tests suggests that medium format scanned images seem to perform better than 35mm. This is too bad as I have three 35mm cameras kicking around with lots of lenses.

Manfred, that smile is the same, and is now seen in her two young children. I’m betting you are right about medium-format scans. I got to looking on the Internet for 645s, and whereas a few years ago you could find one with standard lens for about 300 US bucks, they are pushing a thousand, and the autofocus 645n is even more.
