Leo has been adopted but, he will remain with us until he is a bit older. His new parents have adopted other dogs from us and are fine dog owners. They want to came him "LIAM"

Indeed. Did you apply any noise reduction software?

I found myself shooting at ISO 3200 recently with the Canon 5DS and, like you, I was surprised and delighted how they came out. I used a bit of noise reduction, but it would have been okay without.

I applied NIK Dfine II globally... But, as you mention - I could have gotten away with no noise reduction...

I remember shooting with earlier Canon DSLR cameras and wanting to keep the ISO below 800 for best results. The ability to shoot at 3,200 (with limited noise reduction) certainly gives me a lot of freedom when shooting with Auto ISO and the camera in manual...

Of course, I remember when Kodak Super XX emulsion was considered "high speed" at ASA/ISO 100 and later ASA/ISO 200 when the safety factor was removed
