    An Atlantic Sea wall and dragon's teeth

    Surrey, UK is a landlocked county. This Atlantic Sea wall was built in 1943 by Canadian forces in preparation for the D-day landings. It is 100 metres long and made from steel-reinforced concrete. I cannot imagine the power of the explosives used to blow two large holes in it. The dragon's teeth tank-traps are nearby.

    Fascinating. I agree with Nanda, the first image looks like a locomotive coming at me!

    That was my impression too when I walked through the trees and saw the structure.
