A nice landscape Joe, but I'm not sure that the colours of the background (including the sky) which are quite cool toned work well with the more earthy tones of the foreground and middle ground trees. I've be tempted to reduce the blues / cyans locally in that part of the image. I'd also consider showing a bit less sky and showing this more as a panoramic format.

In my view, those two small tweaks result in a stronger image.

Foreground looks good, Joe, but I think I would have used a bit of masking to keep the sky closer to your original image.

Sorry Joe, the new sky does not work particularly well for me. It is too "hot" and pulls the viewer's attention away from the rest of the scene. It needs to be calmed down to match the rest of the image, in my view.

Joe - in this last one, you are almost back to where you started; warm tones in the fore and middle ground and cool tones in the background. I like where you were going with #3, except for the clouds being to "hot".

i think I might warm the foreground a little more though.
