What a cracking shot. I would be inclined to go for a letter-box crop to eliminate the bird-less sky from the top of the frame. Would make an even more powerful image i think.

+1 to Peter's comment. That is my view as well. The top of the frame without the birds does not add anything to the composition and the image would be stronger without it.

I would also like to see what it would look like, if trimmed that way....

I like it! Agree to the crop, and also I'd probably take out those trees in the bottom middle of the frame.

A good start Raymond, but if this were my image, I would attack it even more aggressive crop, perhaps using a 3: 1 panoramic format to get down to where the birds have a greater impact on the image.
