I really like this—the lines, textures, and color contrast.
I wonder, though, whether it would be better if you cropped off most or all of the sky. It’s not really contributing to the composition.

Seismic zone - not especially.
As for the age, most date from the late 17th C early 18th C when Rochefort was being actively developed as a naval supply centre for Louis XIV.

+1 to Dan's comment. The sky is really acting as a distraction and pulls the viewer away from the main subject(s).
It is seismic zone, and quite strong. 3rd zone from 5 which covers France according EN norms. Its strength must be definitely taken into account during building designs these days.
