Grizzly Bear in the Rain

This shot, processed today, was taken on a trip to the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary in the far north-western part of Canada (British Columbia almost at the border with Alaska).

It was wet and raining (typical weather for that part of the world. The rather wet bear was resting on some fallen logs. We were in an inflatable boat, sitting out in the estuary, when I took this shot.

I didn't. I rested the camera on the side of the boat (it was bouncy) and used a high shutter speed (1/1250th second).
