    One minor change to my bright field setup turns it into one where I use a dark field lighting approach.

    This creates a completely different effect because of the highlighting of edges. I have to think more, but on first blush, I prefer this.

    Thanks Dan - One of the my summer projects was going to spend time on hot or rainy days exploring this genre.

    In some ways, this is actually easier than the bright field technique as the dust on is much less of a problem.
