An interesting view, but to my taste, this is badly underexposed and lacking in contrast. Substantial areas are clipped--that is, pure black, with no remaining detail. With the exception of parts of the sky, very little in the photo exceeds a luminosity value of 35 out of 100. The histogram shows that almost all of the image is in the bottom half of the tonal range, which is the main reason there is so little contrast.

If it were mine, I'd expand the histogram (drop the white point, use the LR sliders, whatever) and maybe use a curve for more midtone contrast.

Yes, I agree with Dan, but if you do increase the highlights be careful of over exposing the brighter sky areas.

Better, but I suspect you can go a little further with the brightness; providing you do some masking on the sky. The right side hedge is still very dark, but what sort of effect do you want from this image? A rather sombre and moody sky? It is up to you to decide.

A slight crop from the bottom and possibly the right side might also be worth trying.

I tried going brighter but the white rail car overpowered the image, there really isn't anything interesting on the right anyway.
I'll try the crop when I get a chance WE have to go to the cancer center today and tomorrow for my wife's Chemo treatment.
