A few images taken in Whitby, Yorkshire, England. We spent a few hours poking around the town and spent a fair bit of time at the Abbey. Bram Stoker wrote Dracula, while vacationing in Whitby and was inspired by the town, the harbour, the Abbey and the Churchyard at St Mary's Church.
The famous explorer, Captain James Cook also lived and worked in Whitby for around 10 years.
This was the first day where we had some decent lighting for photography. Overcast with textured clouds and no rain.
