Very nice. A little bit more room on the left would be great. If not available, I'd crop just left of the yellowish boat, third from the left. I'd also clone out the cutoff buoys left of center and the one on the right edge.

but perhaps 100 extra pixels (before downsizing) was 25 too many!
I also did the border a stupid way resulting in more problems than there should be.
I like John's original composition. The 'tightness' of the crop conveys, for me, the sense of a busy mooring. And as for the treatment of light and tone - well that is just maginificent. I would go with the clone on the mooring buoys at the bottom and right
John: Great mood and lighting. I do think the cropping is too tight on the left. I think Dave's cloning of the buoys is very effective and perhaps only about a third of Dave's added space on the left would help while still keeping a tight composition as Donald suggests.
