Indeed!
Beautiful. That's a hyacinth, isn't it? I love pink. I love hyacinths.
Very nice Steve.
They smell great, and they are pretty in B&W as well........................

Steve, a good piece of work here. Those waxy petals cause difficulty in controlling highlights and you have done a great job keeping them down. The only problem I see is that in doing so some vibrancy has been lost. It does not quite grab me as it should. Not sure what the solution would be really. I would probably start by duplicating a layer, setting the mode to multiply and playing with the opacity. I don't know though I think that treatment may be a bit size 12 wellie given the subtlety of the image:confused:
Hope I do not offend, but gave a try at retaining the softness, but gaining back the vibrancy Steve (and I) think has been lost in your conversion...mebbe yeah, mebbe nay...it's always hard when oyu are working with someone else's vision.

Beautiful Steve. The original pink gets my vote. If I had not seen the original I would have loved the B&W but to my eyes, even with those lovely subdued tones and textures it just can't compete with "Pretty In Pink"
I do love the composition, I've tried rotaing florals but usually it ends up looking akward (like an upside down flower), not here though, this works nicely.
