Loved the back-lighting effect on #1, Shannon. #2 and #3 seems to be having too high on color saturation and has a greenish tint in it.
I agree with 2 and 3 but it was the only way to make the picture look "decent" that I know of, it was a very badly exposed photo but since they were sitting on my kids hands I wanted them lol for sentimental reasons.. and Thanks about number 1
This is where shooting RAW can save your day even if your shot is not too satisfactory. You have more leverage correcting a RAW file than a highly compressed Jpeg. I think #2 can still be salvaged nicely.
I hope so, maybe when I learn how to use photoshop.. I can fix it... just for the sentimental value.. I actually shot a few pictures in RAW but it takes up more room, which I wouldn't mind when I know what to do with the RAW pics.. I just don't know what to do with them at this point. When I learn a little more I am sure I will be a RAW convert. IDK if it was my imagination but the RAW ones did look better for sure!
WOW WOW WOW I can never Thank you enough, It's beautiful, It was our family picnic for my sons 16th bday!! So it is REALLY special!! Thanks soooo much!! That was really nice of you!
I Love #4 hahaha....But yeah Willie is right and it is just a matter of time that you'll be able to do the same Shannon....just keep on shooting Have a nice weekend!
LOL, yes. I love 4 too! It was very nice of Jiro to fix it for me.
I love the first pic .... The black behind the leaves makes it pop right out at you .... Nice work Shannon
Awwww!! Thanks Jiro!!! I love it!! Now I can have a set.. since you fixed both, one of each of my boys hands. Thats' so awesome! Priceless actually.. Merci Beaucoup mon ami.
Thanks Jim, I learned that in my photography class and was testing out the technique for the first time.
Hi Shannon, Agoods days shooting I see with nice DOF. One thing I find with post processingis that people try to fix images with colour saturation, which often throws acolour cast on the image, when there is plenty of colour there already. Theyjust need contrast and sharpening.
I know you are right Peter, I just don't know how to do that yet.. LOL.. My goal is to know how to do a little PP by Sept. I am sure I have a lot of pictures I can make look way better when I know how to do some contrast and sharpening. I can't wait till June when I start my photoshop classes. I have read a few tutorials but there is already too much info floating around my head just trying to get the camera basics. Watch out world when I learn PP
No rush. The first thing is to get it right in camera, which is what you are doing.
