Re: Caladesi State Park Ospreys
Really nice set of pictures, Rob. These guys can be so hard to capture, but you have done it beautifully. #2 is a bit dark on the one side of the head, but when viewed in the lightbox, it is not so obvious. Maybe a bit of dodging may help, but then I am new to this anyway. What were you shooting with? Images are tack sharp. I love birds of prey. Thanks for posting. It sounds like you had a great day.

Re: Caladesi State Park Ospreys
Thanks Marie,
I have a Pentax K-5 and was using a 55-300mm lens. It was early evening and the setting sun was to my back for most of them. I get to go back tonight, but instead of a 4 mile bike ride to get there, a friend is taking me in a 2 person kayak and it should take about 30 min to get across the channel to Caladesi. If I get anything good I'll post them.
Thanks again,
Rob
