Iron Works art
This was one of the pictures I took before reading the instruction book that came with my camera.

Hahaha! Awesome! And that's how you take shots even without reading any instruction materials? I should look for your succeeding posts to see the effect after you have read some books about photography then. What a great camera you have. The details are just there and look so natural. Thanks Jiro. I have read the instructions but now I need to read other books on how to take a great picture. I've come to the conclusion that photography is an ever ending learning process.

You certainly never stop learning, Keith.
But with this photo, you have good exposure on the darker tones and have avoided over exposure on the white areas, like the inside of that partially open card. Not much wrong with that.

Thanks for the kind words Geoff. Now if I can only remember what I did....lol. But I'l keep at it and eventually I'll get it.
