Re: Over-saturated JPG colors from LR and PS CS5
Well, I've done a bit more experimenting, and I admit I'm stumped. I reset the original DNG in LR, so that all previous adjustments and modifications are gone... starting over from scratch. I've generated JPG images from the unmodified file in LR and PS, and I don't see any additional color saturation in the JPG (as compared to the DNG file in LR and PS) when viewing in the Windows Media Player, BUT...
I do see some additional saturation when I upload the JPG files to Smugmug and view the images from that site using Windows IE browser (haven't tried any other browsers). Strange, huh?

Re: Over-saturated JPG colors from LR and PS CS5
Al, I heard something similar to that issue wherein there is a considerable change in color saturation when an image is viewed using different browser at dgrin (another photography forum). I just can't remember where to find it. I'm using Firefox 4 and fortunately I don't have any issue like that so far. Maybe you can contact smugmug and perhaps they have an idea what causes it.
I was also thinking last night but not so sure if it is related to your issue. Since the color saturation issue did not occur on my system, I was thinking that perhaps your video card is also doing something about it? Just a very wild guess.
