Nik ColorEfexPro - Pro contrast with just photoshop
Dear All,
Anyone has used Nik ColorEfexPro Pro contrast filter? It does make a very good job in contrast enhancement.
Is there any tutorial to achieve such result with just photoshop?

Re: Nik ColorEfexPro - Pro contrast with just photoshop
Hi Geossi,
First of all Welcome!
I rarely use the pro-contrast of Nik colorefex. Some other filters I find more convenient to use.
You can google photoshop killer tips or photoshop tutorials.
for sure there are some.
If I need to give the image an extra bump usually I first change to LAB mode and make the A and B channel a little more steep.
Be careful to keep the values in the A and B channel equal to avoid getting colourcast.
BTW LAB mode sounds much more complex then it is in real life.
If you figured out how to work with it it's very powerfull.
Maybe google on this as well?
