Absolutely breathtaking, Mike! They're so clear and the feeling of high mountain air - it's like we can smell it. I'm shy about mentioning it but what do you think about a little bit of a crop on #3? There's a little rock or something down there that's distracting me and, then, it would give more of a feel of (deep National Geographic narrator voice) "the mountain range". Just an idea. The other thought that comes to mind is, "my! That's steep!" Thanks for taking us on your travels!
Yes, I do, very much. They have been a source of constant inspiration and happiness for me for over 30 years of hill-walking, fell-running, and mountain-biking. I sometimes think I have only ever been happy when in the hills.Don't You Just Love The Mountains
Great shots. very crisp, clean and I want to get out there!
They just take the breath away.
Don't think #4 is as strong a composition as the others. But we're really splitting hairs here. Excellent work, Mike

#1 and #2 is simply breathtaking for me, Mike. The exposure and sharpness is spot on. Thank you very much for sharing. I'm deeply encouraged by the scenery you showed here.
Yes. I've been meaning to do the Tour de Mont Blanc, which starts at Chamonix, for years now, but have never got around to it. I have done one of the high-level routes in The Italian Dolomites though, and the memory of sleeping one night on a hard pallet between two stout German ladies is enduring...
Can't recall where my wife was that night.
stunning shots
Great Job, Very well done
aah here I was basking in the glow of these wonderful shots - wishing I could maybe 1 day go there..... and then Rob pops up with his 2 stout ladies put me right off my lunch!
