Congratulations, Raylee on your new toy.
Uh, oh! Look out!
These are great, Raylee! I love how you've been using post processing to bring such a feeling to these buildings. and, I absolutely lurve #2! I like all three, actually. I have an observation/query on the first one, though. I didn't notice the reflection of the clouds in this one, right away. Did you want them to be more prominent? I don't know how you do it but these have that Raylee elegance feel to them. (I'm not imagining that, am I?) It's like.....you don't live in Gotham, do you?
I can see you are going to use this new tool very well
It was made for you
I love the first one Raylee. Although I would have been tempted to get rid of the lamp standard There is a good brooding feel to these shots. The concrete and glass becomes an almost malignant life form. Great stuff and I agree that the software should enhance your style further.
Is it working?
Half the world seems to be having a ball and loves it. The other half (which I am in) are having horrendous problems and are really struggling to get it to perform. Mine just jams when I try and open an image. And if and when I do get am image, the slider are so slow to respond that it's not worth trying. Nik said they were working on solutions, but there's been a deathly silence for some time now.
So, which half are you in? If you say the first, I'll cry!
I'm still running SEP (the original version)
Mine works very well. CS5 is a bit slow to process once I've chosen all my adjustments and click ok - it waits a bit for the filter to apply. I also have a slow response time when I select the lens adjustment filter in CS5 but that's in the filter actually activating. Gremlins I think.
I've posted another photo that I've processed with it in this mini comp. There are some others on my flickr site too.
Steve - I do have another photo of the same building minus the lights but I sort of liked the juxtaposition of the two.
