I think this is a Green Malachite Butterfly. This is just one of the variety of butterflies that you can find inside the San Antonio Zoo in Texas. Thank you very much for viewing.

Nice pic Willie. I took some photos of butterflies once and found out that getting the focal plane just right is a real challenge. I aksed them nicely to jsut stop flying around, but they just wouldn't listen.

Thanks, Mark. I probably got lucky with this one. This butterfly stayed like this for about 5 seconds, enough time for me to compose the shot and took 3 shots with me before he decided to fly away.
