Thank you, Gurvinder. Another thing I just noticed... in my cropped edit, the foreground area (which is very bright in the original) is now fore-shortened, and the three golf-players are on the point of crowding the front of the shot. But that does have the benefit of giving much more prominence (I think) to the ball and the hole, which after all is one of the key elements of the shot. The 'story' in this shot is the ball and the players, so we need to get in as close as possible to give them prominence.
