Nice and sharp, Paul. Well done. I would probably use a 4x5 crop to remove some of the dead space on the right.
Lovely shot, great catch light in the eye! I agree with Abhi, a 4x5 crop would help.
very nice capture and that stump just really compliments it in terms of colour and form.
I totally agree with Abhi. I would crop much tighter; but don't let it look 'cramped'. I think, if you prefer, you could also get away with a 3 x 2 ratio crop.
Some people like to have a bit of space around their subject but I always think 'How would a professional wildlife magazine print this scene.'
And I would run a Blur Tool around the background. The main subject is excellent so it is worth spending that little bit of extra effort to get the background also looking good.
I like it very much. Lovely.
Well captued Paul and I do like the last crop. Gives the little fella room to look into and not just the edge of the frame.
last crop is too tight for me although agreed some cropping would help. neil
You have a great shot here, the background beautifully out of focus, have you tried flipping image from left to right. It is always important in most wildlife images to leave plenty of space for the subject to look or fly into, which you have achieved
Finally for the perfect image could you tone down the very light area at top of frame as it could distract the eye slightly

Great shot Paul ! I really like the cropped version better it has the ability to show off the great detail that you captured.
