Excellent shots! Well composed and sharp. I'm guessing that you also had to control your own parachute as well as take pictures! (unless you had one heck of a tall vantage point) LOL!

Shots from up in the air always suffer from haze owing to the distances involved. If you didn't have a polarizing filter on the lens, you might want to try that next time to cut the haze a bit. It should help the shots where you can see the ground.

Thanks a lot for your appreciations. I was in a business trip with a max focal of 200 mm. I recommend such type shot topics that's extremely relaxing. Unfortunately in some shoting mositions a polarizeing filter could be helpful

Gonzalo is correct: panning is moving the camera in the direction of the moving object to reduce blur. It could also be used in reverse, by moving in the opposite direction of the moving object to produce blur and suggest speed. It is used mainly in sporting events but could also be used for wildlife and candid photography. The short exposure is a quick shot also used to reduce blur.

That's right For such shot I use AI servo AF mode, Aperture mode around F/2.8 and shutter speed around 1/2000 s. My DSLR is a Canon 7D

More and more I use fixed lens which provide a higher picture quality than zooms but more difficult to use. In terms of crop, these pictures have been effctively slightly cropped. a picture from 7D is 5184 by 3456. I defined a personal rule which is to crop max of 500 pixels. it allows to preserve quality and push to properly compose the picture at the shot time
