gas production
Hi Gang!
Here's my first post. A HDR shot from a natural gas compressor site visit in Alberta, Canada.
Multiple exposures and I can't remember what f-stop I used. Nikon D50, Tamron 18-200.
C&C is appreciated.
Cheers

Re: gas production
When this popped on the screen my immediate reaction was "uugh....big spider"!
What an interesting image. Quite futuristic. It reminds me of the sort of art that used to appear on album covers.

LOL, That's the first time I heard that one! But now, I see nothing but a giant spider.

Re: gas production
Can't say that I would rush over and try a similar shot but hey we all like different things.
Is the flare just a result of the position of the sun as normal or has it been exacerbated by the HDR?

Re: gas production
why won't you rush over to the middle of no where to take pictures of pipes?
This was actually a picture from an assignment. Just trying to make pipes look pretty.
The flare is due to the position of the sun.
Thanks for looking.
Cheers

I like the sky and range of colors....in addition I like the subject.....of course I have been involved in industrial systems, especially power plants, air pollution control systems, fabrication facilities, along with the people involved.......

I like that image; I can see that on the wall of a corporate office somwhere. I would suggest a slight straightening of the horizon though.

Re: gas production
Thanks. Funny enough, it is on a wall Most of the people in the office think its a painting until someone tells them its a photograph. .
