Up and out at half three this morning to catch the sun rising - my partner in crime and the one who suggest the ungodly hour for a shoot.

First one for me too. - great.

For the second, I wondered about an alternate composition (or recrop if possible); take 25% off the right hand side and gives us 25% more on the left - just something about the elbow makes me think that would work better, assuming there's nothing unphotogenic on the left you were deliberately avoiding of course
