One of the 7 AF sensors on my Rebel died today.Does anyone have any experience with such a problem?
Should I be worried about the others? The camera is old, so I am not even sure if it is worth sending it to Canon to get it fixed. They will probably just end up charging me half the price of a 1000D.

PS: Looking at the bright side, maybe this is a good excuse to buy a 550D.
