elements 9 setup
hi all, i am looking for some advice about setting preferences in elements 9 before calabrating monitor and printer, i was told that this had to be done frist regards pat

thanks leo. preferences more for adjusting and printing in full edit section e.g. adobe r g b as colour space .regards pat

If your final goal is printing, set Edit/Color Settings to "Optimise for Printing" before opening the file. Alternatively set Image/Convert Color Profile/AdobeRGB after the image is opened and before editing or sending to print. That will ensure you're editing in a space at least as big as your printer gamut. sRGB may not be.
