Water Lily Closed
This is my first upload to the site, what do you think? Ok, here it is I should have read the instructions.
This a closed water lily in my parents back yard koi pond. I think the photo has a great stillness to it.

I think you should try again If you need help, there is a sticky at the top of the page that will help. The easiest way is to open a free account at flicker or photobucket and upload your images there. You can then copy and past the img code to this site , to post your photos.

Re: Water Lily Closed
I like the concept of stillness for this shot. A small nit, Dale, Balance out that small dark shade at the top left and this one would surely be perfect. I really like how you subtly kept the stalk almost in a ghostly like shade under the water. Stellar. Thanks for sharing.

I see it now dale, and it is a wonderful image. I agree with willie about the dark spot in the top left. There are also a couple of small dirt specs on your sensor at 5 o'clock from the top left corner, while your at it. The cloning tool will fix both of them.

cool image, I think an image of the lily open would compliment it nicely on the wall.
