I think I can see why you composed like this; with the eye and a nostril near 'the thirds'.
Unfortunately, for me, several things make this a less than appealing photo;
a dribbly, gooey mouth (can ya tell I'm not a livestock man?)
the other eye cut on the edge of frame distracts
the ear hair and tag distract
the shapes in the background also distract; all green, or all biege, would have been OK, but this leaves me trying to figure out what's behind
I think there may be an image in a close up of the eye and the reflections in it thoughshame about the ear tag as the ear, horn and eye could work as a composition.
BTW the exposure looks OK.
