    A very strong and emotional image, Giannis. I like it a lot. Examining it further, I am thinking that a square crop would also look great on your image. If I would further comment, I would probably trim or clone out some of the stray leaves on the top left and tone down the brightness of the single light gray leaf from the tree. A little more contrast would probably be OK to add. Here's a simple edit if you may allow me.

    The first crop looks great to me, though I agree that there are some distracting leaves in the top left. I like the long lines of the original crop and I think they add to the alone feeling.

    I like the leading lines of the first image but, I am not sure if the image conveys loneliness or solitude and contemplation to me. I guess that those are just two different ways of looking at the same situation... Like a glass being half empty or half full.

    You are right, it could be viewed both ways. Contemplation could convey a totally different mood.
