Hi Dave,
I have a Canon 40D, 24-105 as standard and currently playing with my new 50mm 1.4. I also have a G12 which I love because of the swivel screen. My first digital was a Nikon 900 or 950 I cant remember which but it had a split body which amounted to a similar effect.

I'm really not into the newest camera etc, it's too easy to get seduced by technology and forget about really seeing.

That's very true.

Yes I like a swivel screen too - it is why I got the Nikon D5000 a couple of years ago
