"There's a bear in there" is the title. I had hoped people would notice the image of the polar bears face in the centre of the photo without needing the clue of the title. This photo was taken near the Natural Arch in the Sprinbrook area of the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia
That's very interesting. Did you "help" the bear to appear or is it a natural pattern?
Chuck
Really great picture. Is it the same view from the naked eye?
The bears face was just a natural pattern that I only noticed when I got home that day and saw it on my computer. I'm trying to decide whether to enter this photo in a local competition because of the spooky face image but what I really need to know is whether people are noticing the face without being prompted by the title, because the judges won't see the title of the work until after judging has happened.
I saw the bear immediately because I was looking for it. I don't know how long it would have taken if I hadn't seen the title first. Try showing it to some friends without giving the title. See how long or if they see the bear. The shot is very interesting and a novelty keeper.

or change the title to "Waldo the Bear"
Hi Matt,
I showed this to my son (18) without the title and he saw a racoon face in the waterfall.
I can see what he means, there's something about the eye and mouth shape...
