Took a water ride on a sternwheeler to Blennerhassett Island, OH. The captain was allowing people to take the wheel for a short distance.
Shot this one Manual, Shutter speed 1/80, F4.5, ISO 100, Focal length 35.0mm
There was a lot of river traffic as the tugs pushed barges full of coal and other product 5 deep and 3 wide.

You nailed the composition and exposure quite nicely on image #1, Marie. Well done! On #2, a little more contrast would probably make the image stronger. Your b&w conversion is very nice, too. 5 thumbs for your effort and good eye for this.
