Re: Color Management Confusion
Can anyone recommend a good quality, single purpose printer, which wouldn't break the bank

Re: Color Management Confusion
I think we'd need more information before we could recommend anything - need to know what size you need to print to etc. Many low-end printers are cheap enough to buy, but can have very high running costs.
What are your thoughts so far?

Re: Recommendations for an inexpensive single purpose photo printer
Hi again Colin.
Thanks for your response. In terms of print sizes my current printer covers most of my needs. 8.5*11inch, 4*6inch and 8*14inch which I do not use very much. I would go to 8.5*17 inches if everythig else was ok because I occasionally do panoramas. Thus, my main concern would be the photo print quality both in colour and black and white.
I trust this specification will enable me to generate some answers.

Re: Recommendations for an inexpensive single purpose photo printer
Hi Paul,
I'm probably not going to be much help as I've only ever had experience with professional-grade printers - so my suggestion would be (if you're after something robust and bullet-proof) to look at something like an Epson 4880 ...
... it's starting to get into the "serious" territory though!
