SIGMA 70-300mm APO DG MACRO f4-5.6 vs NIKON AF-S 55-300/4.5-5.6G DX VR
Which one is better?? I had the SIGMA for almost a year i was happy with the images taken with my nikon d5000 but suddenly the focus motor give up and stop working.
So i send it back because i still hade the guarantee and they told me that i can change my lense with anything else or fix it and send it back. Iam thinking of changing it with the Nikon for 2 reason for the VR and the big zoom coverege but Nikon does not have Macro. What do you guys think about my idea?? is the Nikon sharp as well??

Personally I would go with the Nikon lens. I heard that the 70-300mm VR lens of Nikon autofocuses faster then the 55-300mm lens so you might probably consider that on the decision process. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for your fast reply Jiro iam sure that the 70-300 is better and i was consider that lense but the price is to high. Ι am in a big dilemma. What you pay you get the people say. Thanks anyway!!
