Hi Pat

This image gives me a sense of a relaxing day, warm but refreshing by the river. I also get a sense of movement from the ripples on the water. If it were my photo, I'd try to bring out some of the detail in the shadows and mute the brightness of the shrubs in the sunlight. But I wouldn't touch the water - it's perfect. Lucky you to stumble across this!

That looks good Pat. Left side is great. Can you bring out any more detail in the tree on the right?

To my eyes, Pat, what you have there is a no win scene from the start.

Too much shadow and the bright area, which draws my eyes towards it, lacks any real interest.

My only suggestion would be to crop away most of the shadow areas and concentrate more on the river.

Maybe something like this.
