    first shots with my new camera(Nikon D90)

    Hi All,

    I am new to the world of digital slr's & below is a photo that i have taken with my nikon d90.

    Request you to give your comments & tips to improve my photography techniques.

    Congrats on the new camera, Siddharth. The shot is a bit leaning to the right so you could probably rotate it to straighten it out. A little extra contrast and sharpening would make it "pop" more.

    I agree with Jiro... CiC has a tutorial on sharpening which is great! All DSLR images can benefit from sharpening in post processing.

    The tutorials are brilliant!!! Take the advice and give them a look. I've only been a member of CiC for a week and my photography has certainly improved for the better. These guys have the expertise and experience and share it openly, unlike some other so called photography forums. You got the kit so go for it!
