Yes, I was wondering about that leaf. But I think this scene needs something to balance all those right side branches. Or maybe crop a bit tighter on the left side. Either way this shot looks good.
Sometimes a bit of shadow can make a photo, but I think those shadows on the second image are just too random to work well.
