    a rainy morning

I just want to share this shot I took a while back. It was raining when i shot this. I really want to take photos of leaves with droplets of water.

    C&C are welcome.

    a rainy morning

    Thank you for viewing.

    Leonardo,

Very nice. Your focus is perfect, and the selected DoF is exactly the right amount! The background is a little boring, but I think that's ok with such a fun subject... my eyes keep drifting from droplet to droplet looking for little details to find.

    Well done!

Very nice poho- I wonder if it would benefit some by cropping maybe 25%, up from the bottom but leaving some of the main stem as a reference point. - it's devoid of anything in that area and that would bring the raindrops 'nearer' too and make more of a feature of them.

    Thank you Bill!

Yes I could have selected a good background but it was raining then. And if I move the plant a little those droplets will scatter.

What could have I done to have a good background with the situation?

Thank you John of the insight.

I was thinking of doing that because the lower right hand side of the photo has nothing on it. Yes I could have done that.

Willie or Jiro is fine by me.

If you are handy with photoshop you can change the color and hue of the background and even make it darker, Leo. That is one nice shot. For me, I'd probably saturate the leaf a little bit more to give it more "body" and for the droplets to shine.

    One possible edit, Leo:

    a rainy morning

It's looks better on this Jiro. I have saturated it already, but I was afraid I would saturate it too much.

Thank you for your bright idea. You're really good n this field.

Mary... or Lucy... either is fine with me. ;)

    Re: a rainy morning

I was going to say that I , too, think it is a good shot, but needed a bit of a punch with color... just like Willie did! Good shot, Leonardo.

    Thank you Lucy.

Jiro is just great! I was thinking not to over saturate the color, but Jiro just did it...and it looks wonderful.
