    i need a nikon expert

    hi everybody
    i have a nikon coolpix p100 and am totally beginner , i want to know how could i control shutter speed , iso , aperture cause i cant find it in the menu setting of my camera and thanx .

    Hi john, I don't use a nikon, but try turning the dial on top to "M". (manual mode)

    Hi John,

    The answer is in the link Willie (aka jiro) provided.

    If you literally want to control shutter speed and you are a beginner, it might be better to use Shutter Priority than Manual at this stage, see page 69 in the manual. Shutter Priority (S on the command dial) is what is known as a semi-automatic mode, you choose the shutter speed and the camera controls the aperture and possibly also the iso (if you have that set to auto - see p84 for that). the advantage of this (over manual) is that you should get a correctly exposed picture (but there are limits).
