Barn swallow
Went to a nature conservation area about an hour from where I live I could only stay around for 15 mins as I was with other people but I did mange to catch this beautiful bird. I will be going back very soon on my own.
Your comments are welcome and thank you for looking.

Re: Barn swallow
Nice shot. Maybe, were I fortunate enough to be able to claim it as my work, I might be tempted to trim some of the background from the top edge to 'get in closer to the bird.' But that is only my opinion.

Re: Barn swallow
Awesome detail and bokeh! I would agree with Ken, maybe crop off about 1 1/2" from the top?

Re: Barn swallow
Soooooo, that's what they look like. Beautiful shot keith. The new crop looks much better as well. These little guy's are like a bullet with wings. If you ever tried to shoot one in flight, you'll know what i'm talking about. I finally got a couple shots in focus today.(i was starting to think that a video camera was the only way i'd get one in focus )
