A wonderful theme to develop and pursue. As Peter writes, they make you stop and study. So thay are not only visually attractive, but they're stimulating analytical processes as well.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I am on a roll with these images and will continue a long and studied set of works. I have one more, that lends itself to this theme that I will call: "He who thought he could walk on water"

Thanks, Peter, Katy, Nicola and Donald..the shoe was already in the puddle, but it lacked purpose, so I tossed a small black pebble next to the shoe to get the small rippling effect.
