ENTERING. Add your MONOCHROME/B&W image in a new post below. Make sure to change your post title to a name for your picture (click the "Go Advanced" button). We request that there be just one entry per person, and that any tinted images utilize no more than one color. For help posting images, go here.
VOTING. When this competition reaches 10 entries, a poll will be automatically added and any member may then vote. After 3 days, voting ends and the winner is determined.
Once voting begins, a new competition will be automatically started.

Sunbeams Over Stalker
As evening fell the storm passed, small breaks appeared in the cloud allowed rays of light from the setting sun cascade through. I waited for one such break to frame the castle and was rewarded with a spectacular display of sun beams - all I needed was the finger of God to emerge from the sky and a voice booming out "this is the shot, take it"!Last edited by CBImages; 7th July 2011 at 02:28 AM. Congrats Carien! Your photo looks so mild and gentle, it looks that there are no blacks at all, like a dream. It was my favorite
