How to access the shutter count on a 7D?

    Hi folks,

I'm looking at a used 7D and asked the shutter count. The owner doesn't know how to access this info. Could someone help please?

    Cheers.

Take one of the JPEG's and open it in Gimp (you need to have the exif viewer in your plugin registry). The exif data should show you the shutter count. I am assuming this because my Nikon puts this data in exif automatically and I can't imagine Canon leaving it out.
I suppose that Photoshop has something similar and there are other programs available that will show you the exif data.

Alternatively, click a pic & upload it to Flickr. Check its EXIF data on Flickr. It will show you the shutter count.
