Thanks, Frank. Sunflowers are really hairy, specially the stems. If you encounter the tall variety types they tend to be a bit hard and thorny so be careful. Thanks for viewing.

Very 'clean and crisp,' well balanced shot. Maybe would have liked less cropping across top and bottom to have seen tips of leaves. But then again in doing so maybe this would have backed away too much and lessened the impact of the flower's centre; which in your post is certainly very powerful and eye catching. Another 'goodie' Willie!

Thanks, Ken. You were right about the crop. I struggled on my decision about the crop on this one but in the end settled for this, I really want it to be shown as a semi-close up type of shot even though I don't have a macro lens. Luckily, my 50mm lens performed nicely at an aperture opening of f/4 to make it sharp and interesting.
