I know this probably isn't the most original shot but I was bored and I needed something to shoot and play with. I used my sophisticated studio... a black cloth napkin, a roach clip and a spray bottle. Enjoy! CC welcome.

Works for me, Mike. If you may accept some minor suggestion, since the leaf was nicely separately from the black background, you can actually keep the leaf in sharp focus all throughout for a strong impact.
Very creative, I like it.

OK, we know it's a leaf with water drops (glycerine works a bit better, do a google on the technique)
kinda flat - not much happing, the selective focus is a plus+++

Not sure how I missed this thread, but I like the shot. I actually like the selected DoF as it allows the far end of the leaf start to blend into the background. I would be interested to see how glycerin works to create the drops.
My only suggestion would be to hunt for a very uniform leaf when trying this.

Thanks all! I did google the glycerin effect. One person called it the OH MY GOD IT RAINED CATS AND DOGS effect. Lol. I will definatly give that a shot. Thanks again.
