I just sent Frank a PM telling him that I had been to the same zoo in March and have photos of the same bird, which is a Cinereous vulture (Aegypius monachus).

So, here are 2 photos I took. And apparently in March, he had a little more feathers

You got a shot from his 'good' side! LOL I think there was more than one and due to the color differences if we may have a male and female? Or perhaps it is just the lighting or exposure differences.

try this, from centered to dynamic.... the eyes need to be in razor sharp focus, OK

still needs some "nose-room" / beak room on the right side. Might try a Horizontal flip into right reading

OK. I am learning. This is my result using Willie's new "High Contrast and Detail Effect using dodge and burn technique" tutorial. I't not a good as his, but then this is my first attempt using the technique and he is the master. Thank you Willie!



Now if Pretty Face only had a hat.....
